Eden is home to three unique residences. The largest home is used as an Airbnb. It is a spacious three-bedroom home with two queen-sized bedrooms and a children’s room with four beds. The size and location make it the perfect island getaway for a large family or group. In addition to this, there is the cozy one bedroom “Container House” which is also used as an Airbnb. Both these properties attract a steady stream of visitors eager to enjoy Eden’s activities. The owner’s home is known as the “Tank House” and is a quaint one-bedroom retreat. All houses feature partially outdoor showers, enhancing the tropical ambiance.

THE RIVER

The highlight of the property for tourists is undoubtedly access to the Rentapao River. This lush freshwater stream is perfect for cooling off from the tropical heat. It also offers the “Bridges of Eden” guided tour, an exciting adventure across suspended bridges, culminating in a mini zip-line ride.

Also on offer is a kava plantation tour, providing insight into the popular South Pacific relaxant. Eden has its own “Nakamal” – a traditional thatched roof structure used by the Ni-Vanuatu people for congregating and the ceremonial drinking of Kava. Vanuatu is renowned for having high-quality kava, making this tour a unique and memorable experience.

AGRICULTURE

Beyond its tourist attractions and accommodations, Eden thrives on a profitable agricultural portfolio. The property holds an agricultural lease – requiring 50% of the property to be used for agriculture, with the other 50% free to be used for tourism. The estate is well-suited for livestock, with 2023 sales including: pigs, sheep, cattle, chickens, and ducks. In addition to the diverse livestock there are many timber trees reading for milling, a vibrant array of tropical fruit trees and numerous maturing kava shrubs.
